Kathleen Furey

Kathleen Furey completed her Masters in Osteopathy at Victoria University and has been practising in the Sydney CBD for the past seven years. Kathleen joined the Sydney Osteopathic Clinic in 2007 bringing with her not only a strong patient following but also tremendous energy and enthusiasm for osteopathy to add to our team.

Kathleen uses a structural approach other treatment. She trained in a wide variety of hands on osteopathic techniques. Her interest in biomechanics has lead her to qualify in Dry Needling for trigger point release and in Orthotic Therapy. She is able to fit custom moulded orthotics where clinically indicated.

Kathleen believes in patient education and participation. This gives the patient a deeper understanding of the causes, recovery and prevention of injuries. Her treatment interests include headaches, back and pelvic pain, sports injuries and chronic postural problems.
